K-9 Bojar
Bobo as we call him still lives with me and my family.  He is enjoying a good retired life, getting spoiled from soft beds and food that hits the floor!  He was my first K-9 when I started to work for Lawrenceville in 2000.

Bojar was imported from the Czech Republic.  I trained him for both Patrol work and Narcotic detection, and worked with him from 2000 to 2005.  In 2003 he broke his back at work.  Two months, and three hundred stitches later he was back cleaning the streets of thugs!

Bojar had an incredible career on the streets, helping to catch criminals wanted for about every imaginable crime, including murder, home invasions, armed robberies, car jackings, kidnapping, drive-by-shooting, bank robbery, agg assault, and many other violent crimes.

Many of these suspects had a lot to lose and were determined not to be taken to jail. Bojar always convinced them otherwise. On one night, a robbing crew from Atlanta had a home invasion go bad. Two suspect’s fled on foot and Bojar was called in to action. One suspect tried everything he could to shake Bojar off his track, and had vowed not to be taken alive.  He held true to his words, and as Bojar closed the last few feet on the suspect, he turned the gun to his head and took his own life.

Bojar’s career was full of these incredible feats of finding suspects. He received dozens of letters commending him for his performance, though nothing compares to the accolades given by the suspects who bragged on Bojar after he tracked them down!
