The Puppy Nursery!

The typical setup begins by placing vinyl flooring down and constructing the whelping box.

The whelping box has an area for the pups and a separate 'mom's space'.  This space gives mom the opportunity to eat, sleep, stretch and get some extra loving away from the pups.

The box is lined with all the needed supplies for delivery. Ceramic heating keeps a constant warm environment for the pups.

Mom moves into the box two weeks before she's due.  This gives her plenty of time to call it home and know her pups will have a safe place.  Soft classical music is played throughout the process.

Sometimes I lay in the bed with mom just so she's knows, we're in this together!  She trust me completely and knows I have her back.

A very proud mom!  After delivery mom can focus her attention on raising her pups in her own 'puppy den'.
